AI Agent Center Overview

Prev Next

The AI Agent Center is a centralized page where team members can view and test published AI Agents, and where AI Admins can manage all AI Agents in SysAid.

It provides a single place to:

  • Explore published AI Agents (prebuilt and custom)

  • Test AI Agents and validate their behavior

AI Admins and SysAdmins can also:

  • Control availability by assigning AI Agents to datasets in the data pool

  • Configure required integrations

  • Create new AI Agents

Use the AI Agent Center when you want to understand which AI Agents are available to you, control who can access them, or safely introduce new AI capabilities into your environment.

Available for:

Customers using SysAid Spaces.

How it works

From the left-hand navigation, select AI Agents > AI Agent Center. You will find your centralized page to perform all key actions related to AI Agents:

Access and permissions

All team members with Service Desk access can access the AI Agent Center. What you can see and do on the page depends on your permissions:

  • Team members can view and test published AI Agents that are exposed to them through data pool permissions.

  • AI Admins and SysAdmins can also manage access to AI Agents, connect integrations, and create new AI Agents.

Team members without AI Admin or SysAdmin permissions do not see the Manage access, Connect, and Create AI agent buttons, or the 3-dot menu with the View in the Builder option.

Tip!

To learn more about permissions, see Managing Agent and Admin Permissions.

Discover AI Agents

Browse all available published AI Agents, including:

  • Prebuilt AI Agents provided by SysAid

  • Custom AI Agents created in your account

Use categories to both explore and search to quickly locate relevant AI Agents.

Please note:

This page will only show published AI Agents. AI Agents that have not yet been published can be found in the AI Agents list in the AI Agent Builder. Team members without AI Admin or SysAdmin permissions only see the published AI Agents exposed to them through data pool permissions.

To learn more about the AI Agent Builder, see AI Agent Builder Guide.

Test AI Agents

Test an AI Agent directly from the AI Agent Center to understand how it behaves and validate its output before making it available to users.

Manage access to AI Agents

Please note:

Managing access requires AI Admin or SysAdmin permissions.

Control who can use each AI Agent by assigning it to one or more datasets.

When you click Manage access, you can:

  • Select the datasets in the data pool in which the AI Agent should be available

  • Control whether it is accessible to Admins, End Users, or both (based on dataset configuration)

Permissions are inherited from the user groups/companies defined for each dataset in the Data Pool.

Tip!

To learn how to manage dataset groups, see Advanced Dataset Configurations.

Connect required integrations

Connecting integrations requires AI Admin or SysAdmin permissions.

Some prebuilt AI Agents require setting up external integrations.

For these AI Agents:

  • A Connect button is displayed

  • Clicking it opens the AI Agent Builder, where you can configure the required connection

Once connected, the AI Agent becomes available for testing and usage.

Create AI Agents

Creating AI Agents requires AI Admin or SysAdmin permissions.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for, you can click Create AI agent to open the AI Agent Builder and create a new AI Agent that fits your needs.

You can define its behavior, configure its capabilities, and update it later as needed.

Tip!

You can create AI Agents based on SysAid APIs to extend their capabilities beyond out-of-the-box functionality. Visit SysAid Developer to explore the full range of available APIs and learn what you can build.
