This list shows you in real-time which users are logged on to your network and which computers they are using.
In order for a user to appear on this list, the computer they are using must have the SysAid Agent installed on it.
For general instructions for using list pages in SysAid, please go here.
You may click on a user's User Name, First Name, or Last Name to open that user's profile. You can click on a computer's Serial or Computer Name to open its asset details.
Session ID is assigned by the operating system. On a typical workstation, there is only one user at a time and therefore the Session ID is 0 or 1. On a terminal server, though, there could be multiple users logged in, and session IDs would be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.
Client name shows the login location. If somebody logs into the computer directly, the Client name is "Console." If somebody logs in remotely, Client name shows their IP address.
List Actions
There are a number of actions you can perform on your list using the actions list. To open the actions list, select one or more list entries using the tickboxes at the left end of each row. This opens the actions list:
Initiate chat with selected user
Initiate a chat session with the target user. The user will receive a popup message on his or her computer asking to confirm the chat.
Remote control with the selected user
Perform a remote control session to the asset of the user you have selected.
Broadcast message to selected users
Broadcast a message to the selected users. The message will appear on their computers as a popup message from SysAid.
