    By integrating SysAid with a local SMS provider, you can allow SysAid to send SMSes to your administrators' mobile phones. This page allows you to enter details of your SMS provider.

    SysAid supports the following SMS providers:

    SysAid does not support adding custom providers that require more than a direct URL gateway for integration.

    To integrate with an SMS provider, fill in the following fields:

    Provider

    If you are using a Cloud edition, select an SMS provider from the drop-down list.

    If you are using an On Premise edition, enter the provided text for one of the following providers:

    • Clickatell - com.ilient.util.ClickatellProvider
    • Red Oxygen - com.ilient.util.RedOxygenSMSProvider If you would like to use a different provider, please contact SysAid Support.

    Mobile originated (Cloud only)

    This field is only relevant if Clickatell mo is selected as your provider.

    Provider class (Cloud only)

    This field is automatically populated when you select a provider. It cannot be edited.

    Gateway ID

    Enter the API ID or the API Key here. This is given to you by your SMS provider.

    User name

    The user name given to you by your SMS provider.

    Password

    The password for the username above.

    Sender ID

    This is given to you by your SMS provider. If you are using Red Oxygen, leave this field blank.

    Access Key

    This field is only accessible if you have selected Amazon Web Services SNS as your provider. The information for the field can be located in your AWS account.

    Secret Key

    This field is only accessible if you have selected Amazon Web Services SNS as your provider. The information for the field can be located in your AWS account.

    Region

    This field is only accessible if you have selected Amazon Web Services SNS as your provider. The information for the field can be located in your AWS account.

    SMS protocol (Cloud only)

    The protocol you use to connect to the SMS provider.

    After you've filled in all relevant fields, click Save.

    Sending SMSes

    In order for administrators to receive SMSes, you must enter their mobile phone numbers in the Text Message field under Tools > User Management > Administrators. This field may be imported from LDAP.

    You may enable automatic SMS notifications for new service records under Settings > Service Desk > General. You may also configure many different types of notifications to send SMSes. This is done per notification.
