By integrating Splashtop with your SysAid AI Builder, you unlock the ability for your chatbot to create remote access sessions directly within SysAid, without switching tools or leaving the conversation.
Instead of manually creating sessions in Splashtop, your admins can simply ask for a remote control session within the service record, and the AI agent will supply the exact links needed to start helping the user right away. It’s a fast, seamless way to get remote assistance up and running when customers need it most.
Available for:
SysAid Cloud customers
Splashtop Enterprise customers
Setting up the connection
When setting up the connection, you’ll need to add the email address and Splashtop API token of every IT Agent who is allowed to start remote sessions:
In your Splashtop account, go to Management > Settings > API.
Click Create API Token. You can leave the configuration as is or configure the scope and the expiration date of the API token.
Click Save, copy the API token, and click Close.
Please note:
The API token can only be seen at this point. You will not be able to view it again. It’s important to copy and save it.
Activate the toggle on the API token you just created.
In your SysAid account, go to Settings > AI Agents > AI Agent Builder.
Search for Splashtop Connector and select it.
Enter the user's email address for whom you just created the API token.
Paste the same user’s API Key in the Controller API Key (Bearer Token) for the user field.
Repeat this process for all relevant users.
Click Test.
Once you see the confirmation message, you can click Publish.
Your Splashtop account and SysAid AI Agent Builder are now connected 🎉.
Please note:
If the test fails, please recheck the details and try again. If the issue persists, contact support.
