# Change Templates

Because each change of a given type is supposed to follow the same process as all other changes of that type, change requests are based off of templates. Sample change templates could be for system-wide software upgrades and for new employee hires.

The change templates list allows you to create and modify change templates.

To edit a template, click its row in the table.
