    2. Click the link to download the source HTML files. The HTML files come in a .zip archive.
    3. Extract the source HTML files and edit them to meet your needs.
    4. If you've uploaded customized HTML files in the past, add the newly modified HTML files to the .zip archive you downloaded in Step 1. If this is your first time uploading HTML files, save the files to a new .zip archive.
    5. Return to SysAid and click Select on the line with HTML Files Location. This opens the Upload HTML Files screen.
    6. Click Choose file and select the .zip file with your customized HTML.

The behavior of notes fields with an "Add a note" button

This affects the behavior of all the Notes fields that contain the Add a note button throughout SysAid. (Custom notes fields are not affected.)

The location of text added to a notes field
When adding notes using the Add a note button, you can choose whether to have the notes added at the beginning or at the end of the notes field.

Allow notes to be added only by using the "Add a Note" button
If this is enabled, the Notes field is read only. This means that a) the only way to add a note is by clicking Add a note and that b) notes may not be deleted once they've been added.

Secure against cross-site scripting by modifying the "<" character [For Versions 20.3.20 and under]

If this is checked, anytime the "<" is entered into a text field in SysAid that is not supposed to contain scripts, SysAid automatically changes the character to prevent scripts from accessing the database.

By default, the "<" character is changed to a curly bracket "{ " but you can change this setting in text properties.

Leaving this option unchecked is not recommended as it could leave your account vulnerable to cross-site scripting attacks.
