Allow notes to be added only by using the "Add a Note" button
If this is enabled, the Notes field is read only. This means that a) the only way to add a note is by clicking Add a note and that b) notes may not be deleted once they've been added.

Secure against cross-site scripting by modifying the "<" character [For Versions 20.3.20 and under]

If this is checked, anytime the "<" is entered into a text field in SysAid that is not supposed to contain scripts, SysAid automatically changes the character to prevent scripts from accessing the database.

Leaving this option unchecked is not recommended as it could leave your account vulnerable to cross-site scripting attacks.
